Divieto d’AFFissione

Events

Divieto d’Affissione is a project conceived for the Quadrilatero Romano district in Turin. It embraces a double challenge: to use the neighborhood’s walls as exhibition spaces, as if they were the walls of a gallery.
It imagines a new kind of urban space where building walls, like the pages of a newspaper, become a way to inform, to tell local stories — and also to open windows onto the world, like a kind of street television. Divieto d’Affissione aims to restore the traditional role of the poster — not as a tool to promote something for sale, but as a medium of public interest and social value. Among the guests over the years: Isidro Ferrer, Mark Gowing, Tomoko Miyagawa, Kari Piippo.
