ZANZARA THEATER COMPANY
Teatro Zanzara was founded in 2004 with the aim of improving communication skills, boteverydayh in everyday life and on stage, while promoting a culture of inclusion through the performing arts. Today the company is made up of 21 actors, aged between 16 and 60, who are members of the cooperative. They are joined by professionals and students from the fields of culture, theatre and the performing arts, who actively participate in the training process.
Each year the company explores a chosen theme, drawing inspiration from fairy tales, literature and great theatre writers to create an experimental performance staged in a prestigious theatre in Turin.
Past venues have included Teatro Stabile, Teatro dei Musei Reali, Teatro Ragazzi, Caffè Muller, Le vie del centro storico, Teatro della Scuola Holden and Teatro Gobetti. These performances serve as a moment of artistic expression, engagement with the community and shared storytelling.
Teatro Zanzara also collaborates with cultural institutions such as the Circolo dei Lettori in Turin to develop its creative and performance potential.
In addition, the “THEATRE FOR COMPANIES” project offers a tailor-made team-building format for companies, combining art and business by applying theatre techniques in an educational setting. The host company not only benefits from the training, but also plays a key role as a partner in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
